Just two years after Ohio Wesleyan was selected—one of only 10 colleges and universities in the U.S.—to participate in the International Academic Partners Program (IAPP) in India, a team of seven OWU students spent spring break 2012, in India for a five-day program entitled “Living the Gandhian Philosophy.”

Yoga Outreach Columbus

It all began with a charitable yoga class at a musical festival she attended in 2010. It only took Loretta Zedella, yoga instructor at Ohio Wesleyan, until the fall of that year to found a non-profit yoga foundation of her own, and by spring 2011, Yoga Outreach Columbus had held its first event.

Last May, Ohio Wesleyan received a new Zeiss EVO® LS10 SEM ATLAS Scanning Transmission Electron Microscope (STEM). This instrument, located in room 157 of the Schimmel/Conrades Science Center, replaced the former scanning electron microscope (SEM) that had been there since 1997.
